iHeartMedia’s Huntington radio stations specialize in effective advertising campaigns. Here’s what businesses say about working with iHeartMedia.

Bare Arms Gun Range

Build it and they will come doesn’t necessarily work in the world of business. Potential customers may see your business, but they want to know about you. In this day and age, you have to make sure that they have easy access to information about you and radio is a great way to do that.

WTCR and Cledus T. Judd has given us a voice that people trust and has helped us establish credibility. When we first opened, folks thought we were just a gun range, but by using radio and with Cledus telling all his listeners about it, they learned that we are much more than that!

Radio also makes it easy to keep talking to potential customers. A good consistent schedule lets me tell folks what I’m doing by both informing new customers and reminding previous customers.

Window Depot Tristate

Window Depot is pleased with our iheartmedia partnership and the advertising results we’ve received this year on WVHU, primarily the Tom Roten show.

Our sales rep, Matt Tweel, understands our business and the importance of getting advertising results. Matt is always available to us, keeps us updated as to special promotions, and is knowledgeable about what is needed for successful ad campaigns. Matt’s suggestion to advertise on Tom’s show was appreciated, as Tom has done an excellent job in promoting our business.

Screen Doctor

I wanted to write a letter to iHeart to express my appreciation of the growth of my company, Screen Doctor, since we have been advertising on “The Woody Show” on B97.1.

In our first year with Woody, I noticed growth in our “walk- in” customers which was my goal for advertising on the radio.

In our second year with Woody, we doubled our walk- in business! At the end of our second year, I told Woody I wanted to change the contact phone number to my cell number. It was at the end of our advertising year, so I kind of lost my thought towards that change.

We start our third year with B97 and Woody, and of course Woody had changed our commercial with my cell number being given. I know this is a small detail, but by June I had noticed my office phone was ringing less, mostly telemarketers, and my cell phone was getting all my Screen Doctor calls. In six short months, via radio, we had routed my calls to my cell phone. I told Woody I couldn’t believe that changed in that short of time!

We sustained our second years’ growth and it enabled us to pursue community fundraisers. Our first fundraiser was Screen Doctors’ 20th Anniversary! We chose to celebrate by raising money for St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital. We arranged a live remote with Woody to promote our event. The PSA iHeart played for us in the week prior was so critical to getting the word out. Our event raised over $2300.00 for St. Jude!

Later in the year, we did a fundraiser for Ashland Animal Rescue Fund (AARF). We cut a commercial that ran the month long. We ended up raising over $1900.00 in cash and supplies!

In October, we joined forces to do the Pink Duck Breast Cancer Awareness Drive! The Woody Show and Screen Doctor combined to raise $1500 for that great cause.

So, in closing, by advertising with the “Woody Show” my walk-in business has doubled and has sustained that sales volume over the year. In return, our growth has allowed us to reach out to our community through fundraising and raise almost $6000.00 in our first year!! I am a firm believer in radio. For a small company like Screen Doctor, it is economical and profitable and makes good sense. With the iHeart team behind us, our future is very bright!

Special thanks to my Sales Rep Mark Griffith! He has been very valuable in our journey!

Radio reaches more people than TV or even Facebook. Radio reaches 93% of the population every week. And it's affordable. How many people have their phones or tablets out while watching TV and as soon as the commercials come on, they look away to their phones or tablets. As much as 85% of people have that second screen out while watching TV. Do I need to mention DVR, Hulu, Firestick, Netflix, Roku, etc? Radio gets in your head even without you noticing it. Ever had to turn down the radio while you're driving, to look for an address? Your brain is processing info without you even thinking about it.
