This break-barrel airgun is a very popular choice amongst our customers because it's a great multi-purpose air rifle.

Gamo’s G-Magnum 1250 is our most powerful, accurate and ergonomically designed air rifle. Spurred on by the persistent market demand for increased power at an affordable price, our intentions have always been to satisfy the broadest range of consumers for whom power and price will remain pivotal factors in their buying decision.

It features a comfortable stock with an ergonomic pistol-style grip. This style of grip prevents your hand muscles from tightening and results in a more relaxed trigger pull.
On the back of the stock, there is a rubber recoil pad. This pad utilizes SWA™ anti-recoil system and can be adjusted for a lighter recoil impact.

On the inside there is a very potent Gamo Power 33mm IGT Mach 1 gas-piston producing 45 joules of energy. With this spring it will spit out an average 5,5mm pellet at around 280m/s (920fps).

The trigger is an adjustable CAT™ Trigger which can be customised to the shooters preferences.

A scope can be mounted on top of the airgun with a 9-11mm rail. This rail is equipped with Gamo's RRR™ system to reduce recoil impact on the scope.

To make it even better, the gun is equipped with a sound suppressor. Combined with the IGT gas-piston and Bull barrel silencing technology, this makes the airgun very quiet for a springer.

In short
This air rifle is a great option for plinking (even at longer distances), small game hunting, and the joy of destruction.

  • Hmm…..Not sure. I found this….

It appears that the pressure from the gas ram is on that pin…So BE CAREFUL !

I'm not sure how to compress it.

Nicely done. Be careful not to let the setup slip under pressure.

seems like gamo makes it impossible so that you'll have to send it back to them…….i dont even thing they sell parts for breakbarrels. i know that torx or star key that is where the barrel pivots has broken more than on of my torx wrenches. sheared right off. – superglue in there on those pivot screw threads. that second release button reminded me of that special tool for the endplug of the gamo hunter extreme magnums……

With the wood piece and 2 bolts did you just slide them past the trigger to push on gas ram?I thought just using a spring compressor on trigger would work but it seems trigger housing binds the pin with little holes in it.

Not relative to this particular gun but in the past I needed something similar and used a piece of steel pipe small enough to fit inside the receiver. Then I cut sections out of the pipe where space was needed to slide past the pins and trigger group, leaving 'fingers' that could compress the internals and allow pin removal. I think it was for a Diana 460 but not certain as it's been a long time ago. Might be something to try in this case if needed.

The 2 pin tool, sure it has a name, that you use to unscrew the Hunter extreme/1250 could also a pain if you can’t find something to use.

This 2 screw idea is actually quite good. I’d sand and file the sharp and jagged edges so it’s totally smooth. Mike Ellingsworth made a neat little tool for his on YouTube. I’d like to know why a company would make it so hard to work on their guns. Are they really experiencing law suites from people who hurt themselves doing stuff the company advises against?
